BF 270: Welding Basics for Agriculture

Training Objective:

This class will cover welding safety, types of welders, welding basic concepts and skill development in SMAW (stick), GMAW (MIG) and plasma and oxy-acetylene cutting.

Trainer Bio:

Ken Couture has been teaching welding to students and adults for 35 years as an Agricultural Education teacher. He has been teaching at the Killingly Ag High school program since 2001 as an environmental science and ag mechanics teacher.
